Fundraiser to benefit Dover Children’s Home

The Board of Managers of the Dover Children’s Home would like to invite local area residents to a Wine Tasting Fundraiser to kick off the celebration of the 115th Anniversary of the Dover Children’s Home. Due to some generous contributions from Blue Latitudes, Label Tech, Sumner Printing, Relyco Sales, Philbrick’s Sports and Formax, 100% of the ticket sales will be given to the Dover Children’s Home. The event, “Wines of the World,” is scheduled for Thursday, April 17th from 5PM-9PM at Blue Latitudes Restaurant, Central Avenue in Downtown Dover. This social will feature over 25 wines from all over the world and heavy appetizers will be served. A list of wines and more information on the event are posted below.

Tickets are $75 each and available at Blue Latitudes, or with your credit card by phone at (603) 750-4222.

The Dover Children’s Home is a non-profit residential treatment facility providing services to adolescents aged 12-18 years. The agency is designed to provide community-based residential care for adolescents  who have been abused,  neglected or are in need of a structured environment.  The program provides a structured co-ed living   environment in which residents are encouraged to develop and utilize alternative, appropriate behaviors. The team of adolescent counselors provides experiences throughout the day to enhance the normal social, emotional, and educational development of the residents. The goal of placement is to provide appropriate, alternative behaviors which will support them in their transition to a less-restrictive setting.
